Adamsin this article acknowledges that traditional mode education isimportant to both teachers and students because the classroomenvironment provides an arrangement that is conducive to students`learning experience. The author points out that classroom environmenthas a welcoming atmosphere whereby the students are assured of safetyand are willing to share. As such, this outweighs online educationwhereby students do not have that feel of a classroom. This articleis relevant to the research topic because it reports on a study thatfound out that traditional teaching styles better than traditionalmode of education. Thisarticle by Cummings, Chaffin, and Cockerham reports on the researchconducted at the University of Tennessee to compare satisfaction,skill and knowledge outcomes for both the traditional and the onlinestudents. According to the article, significant differences werenoted in the level of students’ satisfaction, field competencyratings, grade point averages (GPA’s) for both the online andtraditional students whereby students on traditional educationalprogram had higher GPA’s that students that take online classes.Therefore, the article indicates that traditional mode of educationis advantageous in comparison to virtual classes because students inthe traditional form of education are likely to get higher gradescompared to their counterparts in virtual classes. Similarly, thisarticle is a credible source because as it was published within fiveyears in the Journal of Social Works Education. Additionally, thearticle is relevant to the research topic in the sense that it showsproof that traditional mode of education outweighs online mode ofeducation because research revealed that students studying on thetraditional mode of education are likely to get higher gradescompared to their counterparts in virtual classes.

Fishand Snodgrass are yet other researchers who conducted the research onstudent`s perception of the value of traditional mode of educationversus virtual classes. According to the article, most studentsappeared to have favored the traditional method of education on allof the student`s perceptual characteristics irrespective of whetherthey attended virtual classes or not. This research also indicatesthat traditional form of education is better than the online mode ofeducation as most students would like to identify themselves with thetraditional form of education. As such, this article is relevant tothe research topic because it presents proof that traditional mode ofeducation is better than the online mode of education by showing thatthe students love traditional classroom mode of education than theonline mode. Inthis book, the authors, Fong, Kwan and Wang also writes thateducation offered through the traditional setting gives the studentsan actual or an on hand experience to the learning process andactivities. The authors indicate that classroom learning environmentgives the students a sense of belongingness because the exposure ofthe students to fellow students and a huge number of people is aprivilege to gain more friends who eventually become businesspartners or business references in future. Accordingto Natale and Libertella virtual classes given on the onlineplatforms does not have empathic interactions and ethical engagementthat are integral and fundamental to liberal education. The authorsof this article further acknowledge that online education onlyfocuses on the delivery of data, but it does not concentrate onengaging the students in the learning process as well as the teachingmaterials. Additionally, it is true from the article that onlineeducation lacks the ability to explore the transformation ofinformation as it turns from the actual information, to individual`sknowledge, and to wisdom. Therefore, this article indicates thattraditional mode of education offers the students quality ofeducation with minimal distraction to the students, unlike the onlineeducation.
